Miss Allie Leebrick was born in Osborne, Kansas, October 22, 1875. The family came to Rawlins county in the early 90's. After the death of her father and mother, Allie made her home for many years with her brother, C. H. Leebrick and family. She was at the Larned hospital for nearly three years, where she passed away December 16, 1943. As a young woman, Allie was very ambitious and much interested in all the activities of the home.
She was preceded in death by her brother Willie, who passed away at the age of six years; also by her father and mother; and brothers, Roy and Charles Leebrick. The only surviving member of her immediate family is M. H. Leebrick, who with his wife and daughter have lived at Fredrick, Okla. for many years.
Her soul has gone to its Maker who said, "Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest; take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall have rest to your souls; for my yoke is easy, my burden is light."
Funeral services were held Monday at the Schandler Funeral Home in Atwood, conducted by Rev. L. J. Smoot, pastor of the Atwood Methodist Church. Interment was made in the McDonald cemetery.
