Paul Abrahamson Lien (Lee) was the eighth child born Nov. 25, 1843 Davik, Norway to Abraham Christensen Lien and Valborg Jørgensdatter Aase. He emigrated to America in 1873 . He first settled in Vernon County, WI .
In 1882 Paul homesteaded in Miner County, SD. He died on the Sept. 2, 1930,and is buried in Howard, Miner SD at Bellview Lutheran Cemetery.
On Oct. 22, 1881 in Vernon County, Wisconsin, Paul married Martha Jacobsdatter Moldestad, b. Abt. 1856 in Moldestad, Gloppen, Norway. (At that time his last name was changed from Lien to Lee.) Martha died in 1885 in SD.
Paul and Martha had two children:
1. Abraham Lee, b. July 8, 1882 in Miner County, SD, He never married, died 4/17/1918 in Madison, Lake County, SD, buried in Belleview Lutheran Cemetery, Miner County, SD.
2. Jacob Martin Lee, born: Jan 09, 1884 in SD d: 1885 in SD
