Frances Lee Adams, 82, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. February 24, 2010, Wednesday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Corbitt officiating.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, the Rev. Milton D. Adams. She was the daughter of the late Ethell and Nadine Newman Lee and was born in Pulaski County. Living in Macon most of her life, she was a graduate of Lanier High School for Girls and was Human Resources Manager with Macy's retiring after fifteen years. -Mrs. Adams was a gifted homemaker and "preacher's wife" who loved her family, her church families and her friends. She was a member of West Highland Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Joymakers Group. Mrs. Adams was a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Dixie Chapter 410. She was the sister of the late Kenneth Lee. -The family she adored will forever treasure her memory, her daughters, Kay (Rusty) Floyd and Laurie (Paul) Rea, all of Macon; her son, Richard Adams of Macon, her grandchildren, Derrick Adams of Macon and Taylor Floyd of Augusta, Bryan (Casey) Rea of Atlanta; her great grandchild, Haylee Adams of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
