Eunice Elizabeth Lee Williams, age 99, of Aberdeen, MS, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away October 6, 2010, at the Care Center of Aberdeen. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Larry Ferguson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 9, 2010, one hour prior to the service at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Williams was born August 27, 1911, in Monroe County, MS, to the late Dr. F. E. and Ethel Rodabough Lee. She received her education in the schools of Aberdeen, MS, later attending night classes at MSCW. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a former member of the choir, and she was a charter member of the Columbus Duplicate Bridge Club. Mrs. Williams was also a former member of the Rebekah Lodge where she served as treasurer and chaplain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie C. Williams, and brothers, Eugene, Armon, and Robert Lee. Survivors include her son Gene Williams (Mary) of Aberdeen, MS, grandsons, Allan Williams (Pam) of Valdosta, GA, John Williams (Sharon) of Hamilton, MS, Tommy Williams (Samantha) of Aberdeen, MS, and Burt Williams (Julie) of Frankfort, MI, granddaughter, Shirle' Bruce of Columbus, MS, great grandchildren, Dustin Bruce, Archie "Jr." Williams, Matt Williams, Allan Williams, Jr., Nicholas Williams, Donnie Williams, Amber Williams Puttman, Tyler Williams, and Taylor Williams, and great great grandchildren, Braydon Williams, Emma Grace Williams, Christian Bruce, and Alina Puttman. Pallbearers will be great grandsons, Dustin Bruce, Archie Williams, Allan Williams, Jr., Donnie Williams, Tyler Williams, and Taylor Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Bunky Williams and Eugene Lee, Jr. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 811 N. McCrary Rd., Columbus, MS 39702 or the American Heart Association, P.O.
