Sandra Nancy (Lee) Veal, 70, of Nashville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thur., Apr 15, 2010 at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN. Sandra was born Oct 4, 1939 to Lloyd and Bernadene (Howie) Lee at Terraville, South Dakota. She attended grade school at the Stoneville School and graduated from Rapid City Central in 1957.
She married Lawrence E. Headrick in September of 1959 at Deadwood, SD. To this union two children were born. Sandra moved around the world as an Air Force wife, from Texas, Incirlik Turkey, and Georgia. She married Thomas B.Veal at Stoneville, SD in Nov 1972 and with Tom's help continued to raise the boys. They were divorced in 1980.
She lived with Lance in Germany from 1998 until 2006 when she moved to Nashville, TN.
Her joy was always her grandchildren. She also had a love of motorcycles and if possible, she would have ridden it to the end.
We want to remember the life and vitality that was hers. We want to remember how she enjoyed life, accepted challenges and faced them with courage. She will be missed tremendously, but will be in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her two children and 11 grandchildren; three sisters, and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Bernadene (Howie) Lee.
Services will be Wed., April 21st at 2:00 pm. at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Pastor Wes Labrier officiating. Inurnment follows at the Bear Butte Cemetery.
