She was born Sept. 18, 1947, in Shreveport, a native of Bossier City and resident of Baton Rouge since 1976. Visiting was held at St. John's United Methodist Church, 9375 Highland Road, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the church, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and religious services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by theRev. Don McDowell. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by husband, Bob Fouchard; a daughter, Ann Marie Daye; father, James Lee Jr. and wife, Velma, Bossier City; a brother, James Lee III and wife, Shirley, Bossier City, and Honolulu, Hawaii;two nieces, Sandy Lee Oestriecher, Alexandria, and Stacy Lee, Monroe; a nephew, James B. Lee IV, Honolulu, and Bossier City; two stepsons, U.S. Air Force Capt. Bartley Fouchard, Columbus, Miss., and Mathew Fouchard, Brunswick, Ga.; three grandchildren, Bartley Rowe, Taylor Ann and Alex James Fouchard, all of Columbus, Miss.; stepfather, Thomas Roberts, Bay Springs, Miss.; two stepsisters, Anne Roberts Corder and Theresa Roberts New; and three stepbrothers, Thomas G. Jr., Martin J. and Brett E. Roberts.Preceded in death by a son, Jere M. Daye III; and mother, Clarice Lee Roberts. Pallbearers will be Henry Locklar, Cliff Fabre, Lonnie Dyer, Micah Martello, Charles D'Agostino, Louis "Skip" Smart III, Mathew Martello and Mark Bonner. Honorary pallbearersare Dr. Warren Fraser, Dr. Shaista Faruqui, Frank Mosley, Ty Irby, Steven Graeser, Kay Babin, Buddy Bowers, Eric Hebert, Dick Acker, and employees of DSK Realtors, Demco and Dixie Business Development Center. She graduated from Bossier City High School in 1964 and was a Rainbow Girl and attended Northwestern University, Natchitoches, where she was Kappa Alpha rose for two consecutive years. She was a member of the board of directors of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Baton Rouge, president of Trianonand Wildwood Elementary PTA, twice president of Kenilworth Junior High PTA and appointed by the governor to the Special Advisory Board of B.E.S.E. board for Special Needs Children. She was president of Heart of Dixie Walking Horse Association, she and her daughter, Ann Marie, members of the National Walking Horse Association and breeders and showers of Tennessee Walking Horses. Ann Marie was recipient of the 1988 Walking Horse Person of the Year. She was a member of C-BAC in Shreveport and Ann Marie, avictim of cerebral palsy, was one of the first persons admitted to this program in Shreveport. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, 550 Lobdell Ave., 70806, Cerebral Palsy and Childrens Development Center, 1805 College Dr., 70808, or The Palmer Home for Children, Columbus, Miss.
