SOUTH BEND — DuFae Warren "Bud" Lee, 78 of Amberley Lane, died at 9:35 am Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lee retired in 1969 from Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Co. and became director of pharmacy at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born July 9, 1915, in Manly, Iowa, coming here in 1950 from Farmersburg, Ind.

On May 4, 1940, in Clinton, Ind., he married L. Kathleen Miller. She survives, with a daughter, Nancy Kuester of Evansville; two sons, Fred of Fremont. Ind. and David of Niles; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

He was a charter member of Clay United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 745 and past grand master of Masonic Lodge 130. Mishawaka. He also was a member of Scottish Rite and Avalon Grotto., American Circus Model Builders, Circus Fans Association, Circus Historical Society, Circus Music Association, and Ringling Brothers Museum at Baraboo. Wis. He was a member of Rho-Chi and Kappa Psi fraternities.

Services will be at11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, where Masonic services will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church or St Jude's Children Research Hospital.
