Miss S. Elizabeth Lee, 92, one of Oswego County's oldest residents, died Tues, Dec. 14 at her home, after a long illness, She was born in Phoenix on Jan 1, 1862, the daughter of the late Dr. Charles M. Lee and Elizabeth Hotchkiss Lee and was a life-long resident of Fulton. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and participated in all its activities. Lee Memorial hospital, which was a gift of the Lee family, was one of many philanthropies in which she was interested. She was the oldest, member of the hospital's board of governors. She was an honorary member of the Fulton reading circle Miss Lee was educated in Fulton public schools and was a member of the last graduating class of Fulton's Valley Seminary in 1883. She later attended Oberlin College. Miss Lee's only survivor is grandnephew, George Lee Biggs, Toronto, Canada. Services were held at the home, the Rev. Fred A. Magley officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Adnah cemetery.
