Margaret R. Axsom, 82, of Bloomington, passed away Friday at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
She was born on March 13, 1931 in Martin County, Indiana to Frank and Vella (Parsons) Ledgerwood.
Margaret was a graduate of the Loogootee High School. She retired from RCA and was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Bloomington.
Margaret is survived by her son, a daughter, 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and two brothers.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alva Axsom, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship with Pastor David Wigington officiating.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will take place at Clear Creek Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship for Missions.
