HANNIBAL - Helen L. Ledbetter, 38, of Hannibal, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Robert Shobe will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ledbetter was born Aug. 4, 1966, in Hannibal to Charles W. Schmidt and Rita L. Charlton.
She was married to Courtland L. Ledbetter Sr. on March 13, 1986. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Charles Schmidt of Hannibal and Rita Charlton of New London; two daughters, Courtney Ledbetter of Hannibal and Tiffany Ledbetter of the home; one son, Courtland Lee Ledbetter Jr. of the home; two brothers, Robert Schmidt of Hannibal and Charles Williams Schmidt Jr. of New London; three sisters, Eva Glass of Dallas, and Christina Schmidt and Mary Laydeen Darnell, both of Hannibal; one grandchild, Justice Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ledbetter was preceded in death by one uncle, John Charlton.
Mrs. Ledbetter was a homemaker and worked as a nurse's aide and caregiver. She was a Christian by faith.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ledbetter, Charlie Schmidt, Robert Schmidt, Jared Moyers, Jeff Fogle and Bubby Smith.
