Levia Leatherwood was born Dec 16, 1913. She lived in the Springtown area since 1942. Levia was a former beautician and the co-owner of Leatherwood Feed and Grocery for many years. She was a member of Agnes Baptist Church. Levia was preceded in death by her husband, Zack Leatherwood; and a daughter, Freda Lowe. "Her children rise up and call her blessed."
Survivors: Son, Maynard Leatherwood and wife, Beverly of Trophy Club; daughters Zachuline Tomlin and husband, Mike of Springtown, Carolyn Halsey and husband, Larry of Springtown and Nowanah Corley and husband, Lonnie of Weatherford; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister Dovie Roberts of Durant, Oklahoma.
