Dorothy Jean Mills, 83, of Elm Street, Andover, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Rumford Hospital, Rumford, Maine.
She was born in Rumford, Maine on February 15, 1930, the daughter of Philip and Margaret (Thomas) Learned, and graduated from Andover High School Class of 1947.
She was a member of the Andover Congregational Church and the Andover Friday Club, the Andover Women's Club, Andover Grange, Mollyockett Mixers Square Dance Club, and the Andover Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden, knitting, square dancing, baking and spending time with her family and "Annie." She also enjoyed the outings at camp at Roxbury Pond and Flat Rock.
She enjoyed sitting on her front porch and those last-minute, day-long shopping trips with her family and friends and finding new restaurants. She also owned and operated Mills Market with her husband Roger for many years.
Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Andover, Maine.
