Mrs. Isley had attended business college in Terre Haute and for ten years was a clerk at Kresge's Department Store, retiring in 1952. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Mrs. A.G.) VanGordon of Lafayette; one son, Richard Isley, at home; a sister, Mrs. Imogene Hoover of Homestead, TN; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
