Caroline Anna Leamer, 83, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George and Mary (Smeltzer) Hatch.
Surviving are three daughters: Mary (William) Scott, Margaret Balliet and Karen (Kevin) Slater; a son, Glenn "Butch" Jr.; eight grandchildren: Brian and Jason Leamer, Christopher Scott, Tonya, Gallahad and Vaughn Mallory, Stacy Anderson and Erin Treese; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mary Conrad, Rose Calderwood and Anna Walters; and two brothers: William "Billy" Hatch and Thomas Hatch.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Joseph and James.
Caroline attended Altoona Catholic High School. She had been employed with Boyer Candy Co. and the Sheraton Hotel. She enjoyed gardening, music and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
To honor Caroline's wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
In memory of Caroline, donations may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
