YORKVILLE - Mrs. Dorothy L. Dowd, 87 of 2133 Highland Ave. Yorkville, died Monday, April 27, 1931, at home.
She was born in Utica, the daughter of William and Louise Toussaint Leach in Utica, on August 21, 1940.
She was married to Thomas P. Dowd. Mr. Dowd died in 1970.
Mrs. Dowd had been employed by the Doeskin-Sitrue Paper Company and also by the Department of Mental Health. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Utica, the Sacred Heart Guild, and the Senior Citizen's Club of Sacred Heart.
Mrs. Dowd is survived by one son, Thomas W. Dowd, of Marcy, there are also three grandchildren.
Interment will be in St Joseph's Cemetery. Utica Daily Press, Tuesday, April 28, 1981
