Alice M. (Lemasters) Davis , 70, St. Joseph, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Born in Haman, Okla., on Feb. 12, 1930, Mrs. Davis had resided in Springfield, Mo., most of her life and moved to St. Joseph in 1992.
A homemaker, she was a member of Pentecostal faith.
On July 12, 1966, she married Hubert W. Davis . He died in 1994.
Mrs. Davis also was preceded in death by her father, Guy Lemasters.
Surviving: two sons, Max E. Osborn and Larry Osborn Sr., both of St. Joseph; a brother, Orville Lemasters, St. Joseph; seven sisters, Rose Foster, Floy Hitzelberger and Linda Swope, all of St. Joseph, Lois Ochse, Helena, Mo., Shirley Berry, Easton, Mo., Donna Rian, Lake Park, Minn., and Daisy Middleton, Agency, Mo.; her mother, Flora Lemasters, St. Joseph; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service, St. Joseph. The body will be cremated following the service. Family visitation: 6 to 8:30 tonight, at the funeral home.
