Dorothy L. Blasingame

Dorothy L. Blasingame, age 86, of Farmersville, formerly of New Boston, passed on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 12, 1924 in Edwards, Illinois to Fred and Ethyl Record LeMasters, they preceded her in death.
Dorothy was married to the love of her life, Billy Jack Blasingame for over 42 years; he also preceded her in death. Dorothy will be remembered for her happy spirit, her contagious laugh, and her love of fishing but she will be missed most for the love she had for her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Gwen Blasingame of Farmersville, Glenda Collins of Farmersville, and Dorothy Vaughan of Kerens, TX; three sisters, June Davidson of Oak Forrest, Il, Marg Eberly of Brumfield, Il, and Betty Orchid of Antlers, OK; one brother, Bob LeMasters of Peoria, Il; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 3 sons, James Guest, Buddy Guest, and Floyd Guest, and by 5 brothers and sisters.

Services for Ms. Blasingame will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Ringwood Cemetery in New Boston.
Visitation will be from 4 – 6 P.M. Monday afternoon at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville.
