Mrs. LeMasters, a native of Guernsey county, Ohio, was a daughter of J. B. and Emily Hackley.
She was born October 21, 1868.
On December 24, 1889, at Earl Park, she married Mr. LeMasters.
Most of their early married life was spent in Benton county but 28 years ago they moved to farm near Goodland.
Mr. LeMasters retired from farming several years ago and the family moved to town. Mr. LeMasters was formerly township trustee.
Besides the husband she leaves a son, Clarence of Yakima, Wash and a daughter, Ruth, a school teacher here. A granddaughter, Margaret LeMasters, was also reared by the people.
Mrs. LeMasters was a member of the Methodist church, and the Loyal Circle of that church; she also belonged to the Pythian Sisters.
