LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011, at a 1:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette for Anez LeBlanc Comeaux, 90, who passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Reverend Louis Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Scripture readers will be her grandchildren, Brian Fabre and Monique Domino. Giftbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Brandie, Kaylie and Cameron Fabre. Survivors include four daughters, Madeline Fabre of Luling, Maria Bienvenu and her husband Henri of St. Martinville, Elizabeth Hamilton and her husband Randy of Dickerson, Texas, and Andrea Gautreau and her husband Darrell of Carencro; two sons, Richard Comeaux and Marc Comeaux, Sr. of Lafayette; a son-in-law, Kenneth Butcher of The Woodlands, Texas; a sister, Nina Moore of Metairie; 24 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, F. Lloyd Comeaux, Sr.; her second husband, Marcel Gerac; a daughter, Janice Butcher; a son, F. Lloyd "Bud" Comeaux, Jr.; a son-in-law, Leon Fabre; two brothers, Roy LeBlanc and Guy LeBlanc; and two sisters, Martha Roddy and Bea LeBlanc.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Brian Fabre, Kenneth Comeaux, Lonny Butcher, Anthony Broussard, Gerard Bienvenu and Matt Gautreau.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons: Randy Butcher, Lee Fabre, Nicholas and Jake Broussard, Lloyd Comeaux III, Doug Comeaux, Marc Comeaux Jr. and Eddie Gautreau.
