Calicutt, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at 7:35 a.m. in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Calicutt was born in Cross Keys on Jan. 21, 1926, a daughter of the late Loyd Irvine Lawson and Fannie Catherine Hill Lawson. She was a member of the Bogansville United Methodist Church and the Mary Sue Keith Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Kenneth Walter Bowen of Kingsport, Tenn., a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy P. and Cheryl Calicutt of Churchill, Tenn.; three sisters, Myrtle Eurka Smith of Fort Mill, Ann Marie Bobo of Union and Mary Lawson Raines of Blountville, Tenn.; a brother, Belton Hill Lawson of Union; a special friend Jack Edward Banks of the home; three grandchildren, Timothy James Calicutt and Crystal Gail Calicutt, both of Buffalo and Kevin Walter Bowen of Kingsport, Tenn.; a special niece and nephew, Barbara Ann Bobo and Bennie Ray Bobo Jr., of Union; several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-greatnieces and nephews. Mrs. Calicutt was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Totherow and two brothers, William Fletcher "Buck" Lawson and Paul Irvin "Toby" Lawson. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Bogansville United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Gary Peterson and the Rev. Jerry Lawson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Wayne Smith, Michael Totherow, Ernie Totherow, Johnny Gregory, Billy Lawson and Tim Stevens. The following are asked to assemble at the church Friday at 3:45 p.m. to form the honorary escort: Dr. Coy Eaton, Johnny Alexander, Butch Lawson, Chris Banks, Scotty Vaughan, Bruce Wilson and Johnny Black. Sunshine Adult Day Care are asked to sit in a group. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 and will be placed in church at 3 p.m. Friday to await the hour of service.
