She was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Williamsburg, Ky., to the late Ambrose and Mary Lamdin Lawson, and attended school in Williamsburg.
Her marriage was to Benjamin H. Baker in Tennessee on May 19, 1948, and he preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1987.
She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm in northern Carroll County. She moved from the farm to Camden in 1989.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Hickory Grove Church and also attended church services at St. Anne Home in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
She is survived by a sister, Pauline Benjamin of Indianapolis.
Also surviving are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
