Ethel C. Chance, 71, Bonner Springs, died July 29, 1993, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Alden-Harrington Chapel, Bonner Springs; burial in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Mrs. Chance was a lifelong Bonner Springs resident. She was a millworker at Guston-Bacon-Certianeed, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Abdallah Ladies Shriners Keelah Court. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Chance of the home; four daughters, Beverly Bryant, Eudora, Kan., Glenna Florence, Basehor, Kan., Geraldine Thompson, Bonner Springs, and Diane Mathia, Paola, Kan.; a brother, Paul Lawrence, Bonner Springs; two sisters, Hazel Pickett and Dora Lea Pickett of Bonner Springs; 15 granchildren; 11 great-granchildren.
