Clara was born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1938. She is survived by husband, Floyd, four children, Peter and his wife Lois of Norwalk, Connecticut, Tom and wife Alice of Chicago, Illinois, Larry and wife Pat of St. Louis, Missouri and daughter, Betsy Touhey and her husband Dan of Virginia Beach, Virginia and 9 grandchildren. She had a passion for golf but succumbed from an extended illness in 1998. Clara took my mother, Millie, under her wing when my mother was new to Norwalk and my mother says she was a wonderful friend to her. She will be missed immensely.
