Laura was born Oct. 1, 1924, in Fern, Ind., to Curtis and Dora Lawrence. She spent her life serving God and caring for her family. She had a delightful sense of humor, and a special affection for the things that make a house a home. She loved Southern gospel music and gardening, and was happiest when she was entertaining her grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her son, Michael Glenn Fielder, and husband, Glenn Fielder.
Survivors: Son, John C. Fielder and wife, Donna; daughters, Marion Compton and husband, Eugene, and Inez Huckabee and husband, Danny; daughter-in-law, Kay Fielder; granddaughters, Annette and Dianna; grandsons, Matthew, Joey, Curtis, Tad and Alan; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends.
