Lillian Faye Booth Thompson, 74, of Pensacola died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008. Visitation: 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside services: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Lillian Faye Booth Thompson, age 74, passed away October 2, 2008. She was born in West Blockton, Alabama on October 3, 1933, and has been a resident of Pensacola for over 50 years. Lillian was a machine operator for Monsanto for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola and also a member of the Warrington Elkettes. Lillian loved and lived for her husband, children, grandchildren and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Lawley and Lizzie Coppinger.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Frank Thompson; sons Billy Booth and Mark (Donna) Booth; daughter Treva Poston; brother Clyde (Johnie) Lawley; sister-in-law Gladys Lawley; nieces Carolyn Stephens and Mary Hall; 4 grandchildren, Jason Booth, Cody Booth, Raychel Poston and Michael Poston; life long friend Estelle Weston and loving friend Charlotte Karlin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with the Elkettes ceremony beginning at 11:30 a.m. A procession will follow for the graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with Dr. Barry Howard officiating. Pallbearers will be members from the Warrington Elks Lodge.
