Veteran County Employee To be Buried Tomorrow

Funeral services for Thaddeus Van Horn Law, 66, veteran employee in the county clerk and county tax assessor and collector's office who died early yesterday morning at his residence, 2618 P. will be held from the J. Levy & Bro funeral home Monday morning at 11: o'clock with Rev. A. E. Ewell officiating. Interment will be in Oleander Cemetery.

Mr. Law was born in Cuero, Tex., April 11, 1876, and had been a resident of Galveston for 47 years. He had been a member of BPOE local lodge No. 126 for 31 years.

He was employed in the office of the county clerk in the late 1890s when his brother, George H. Law Jr., was county clerk. His last period of service in this office was from June 1, 1921 until Jan. 1, 1943.

He is survived by; His wife, Mrs. Myrtle Grey Law; a son, Thad Allen Law, both of Galveston; two brother, George Law Jr. and H. Law, both of Seattle, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be: John R. Platte, Lawrence Mullen, J. F. Johnston, John Obendorfer, Jack Crotty, and C. P. Callahan
