Mrs. Mary Black Died Thursday
Mrs. Mary Black, 74 years old, mother of Mrs. Wallace Dearing of Mexico, Mo., died at 3:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Audrain Hospital. She had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Black formerly lived in Armstrong county, Penn. She came to Mexico a month ago with her daughter, Mrs. Dearing, who had been visiting her as she was in poor health but her death at this time was unexpected.
Mrs. Black was born in Pennsylvania and lived there practically all her life. Her husband, James Black, died several years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, and was an admirable Christian character.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dearing; a son, Frank Black of Havre, Mont.; and three sisters and a brother.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the Wallace Dearing residence on West Boulevard. Dr. A. A. Wallace, pastor of the Presbyterian church, will conduct the service. Burial will be made in Elmwood Cemetery.
