A few days ago her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles McDaniel, of this city, were notified of Mrs. Mitchell having fallen, breaking her hip. The injury proved fatal to Mrs. Mitchell and she passed away on Wednesday morning. Mrs. McDaniel was with her mother until the end came. Mrs. Mitchell was the widow of James Mitchell, founder of the Arkansas Democrat.
