Anna "Annie" E. (Ross) Latimer was the wife of Rev. Dr. James Elijah Latimer. They met while Professor Latimer was teaching at Genesee Wesleyan Seminary, Lima, New York and married a few years later when he was Principal at New Hamphire Conference Seminary. She taught at Fort Plain Seminary and Elmira Female College.
