The funeral will be Aug. 22 for Ruby Cuddeback of Eugene, who died Aug. 17 of age-related causes. She was 88.
Cuddeback was born May 9, 1912, in Plentywood, Mont., to the Littleton Lasaters. She married Sol A. Cuddeback in Eugene on Nov. 3, 1933.
Her family moved from Montana to Eugene when she was 8 years old. She lived in Eugene for the rest of her life.
She and her husband owned and operated Cuddeback Lumber Co. In Eugene. She also worked as a homemaker.
She taught Sunday School at Emerald Baptist Church, and worked with the Assistance League and Boy Scouts of America.
Her interests include oil painting, ballroom dancing and foreign travel.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Solomon, Dennis and Randall, all of Eugene; a sister, Patricia Mulvey of Eugene; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Wednesday's funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Emerald Baptist Church. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rest-Haven Memorial Park, Eugene. Memorial contributions may be made to His Church Street Ministry, in care of Sol Cuddeback.~~~~
