He was born on May 24, 1977 in Rochester, Minnesota, to Gary and Gloria Larson. At age 6, Daniel asked Jesus to come into his heart. He moved with his family to Bozeman, graduating in 1995 from Bozeman High School.
He earned his associate's degree in electronics from Devry University in Phoenix. Because he loved Montana, he came back to work in electronics in Sidney, Billings and Bozeman.
In 2001, he married Megan Kingsfater in Billings and they later divorced
In 2005, Daniel moved to Pendleton to assist in his father's business, G & G Cleaning and Water Restoration, while earning a bachelor's degree in technical management from Devry University. He was currently in graduate school to earn his master's of business administration.
Daniel enjoyed skiing, music and hiking in the mountains near Bozeman. He could fix anything electronic, did beautiful remodeling work and would help his parents when they couldn't figure out their computers. Daniel was witty and could get his sisters laughing with his "one-liners." Daniel loved playing with his little nieces and nephew.
Mr. Larson is survived by his parents, Gary and Gloria Larson; sisters, Gwen (Dustin) Wardell and Joy (Randy) Zwagerman; nieces and nephew, Kylie, Kenesha, and Logan Zwagerman; maternal grandmother, Ethel Malvick; paternal grandmother, Arllys Buesing; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edwin Malvick; paternal grandfather, Lee Larson; and step-grandfather, Lyle Buesing.
Services were held June 6 in Pendleton, Ore., and will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Grace Bible Church in Bozeman, with burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
