Patricia (Patty) Larsen Blomquist, 78 years young from North Logan, Utah daughter of Hendrick O. and Evelyn Parker Larsen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18th surrounded by her loving family.

Patty attended Utah State University, where she met her husband, Claude Blomquist.

Patty and Claude started their family in Salt Lake City and Bountiful, Utah until moving to Bellevue, Washington in 1965. Then in 1972 the family moved to Tehran, Iran until 1977 when they moved back to Bellevue. Patty and Claude returned back to Cache Valley after retiring from Boeing in 1999.

Patty loved being a mother to her three boys; Scott, Rodney and Mike Blomquist She served as the Relief Society President in Tehran, Iran where she lived with her family. She also took great pride in serving with her husband on the Navajo Nation LDS mission and greatly loved the people she served there.

Patty's greatest joy and pride is her grandchildren and great grandchildren She loved the time she was able to spend with them.

She is survived by her eternal companion of 57 years, Claude V. Blomquist, her best friend Simon (dog), siblings; Richard (Brenda) Larsen and Karen (Louis) Madsen, children; Scott (Michelle) Blomquist, Rodney (Jennifer) Blomquist, and Mike (Samantha) Blomquist, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children; and 5 grand-dogs.

Mortuary Services will be held at Allen Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan, Utah.

An open viewing will be held on Friday, January 21 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will be held at LDS Church North Logan Second Ward 1100 East 2100 North, North Logan, Utah starting with an open viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 am, funeral proceedings at 11:00 a.m.
