Loretta G. Larrimore of Tilghman, died at the Talbot Hospice house, Easton, MD. On Sunday August 12, 2012. She was 81.

Born on October 16, 1930 in Easton, MD. She was the daughter of the late Frank Levin and Pearl Eason Lewis.

Mrs. Larrimore attended Talbot Co. public schools. In 1950 she married Stanley V. Larrimore at the Methodist Church in Oxford; while Mr. Larrimore was in the Navy they made their home in various places. Following his release from active duty they made their home on Tilghman Island, where Mrs. Larrimore worked beside her husband on the boat in the seafood business. Later she opened what was known as "the Old Bank Shoppe" a gift shop on Tilghman, which she operated for over 12 years. She then returned to working with her husband helping him to schedule sailing excursions on the bay onboard his skipjack, the "Lady Katie".

Mrs. Larrimore was a member of the Tilghman United Methodist Church, and a past matron of the Eastern Star. She was also a devoted, Cub Scout Den mother, as well as a Brownies and Girl Scout Leader. Mrs. Larrimore loved gardening and was very gifted with her plantings.

In addition to her husband of 62 years Stanley V. Larrimore, she is survived by two children; Steven Larrimore and his wife Laird of Royal Oak, MD. Rhonda Morris and her husband James of Milford DE. Five Grandchildren; Stuart Butler, of Milford, DE., Shelley Larrimore of Tilghman, Vincent Larrimore of Tilghman, Katie Larrimore of Royal Oak, and Ivy Larrimore Lambert, of Easton; two Great-grandchildren; Elijah and Tristan.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; Allan, Frank and Edward Lewis.

Friends may call on Friday August 17, 2012 at the Hurley & Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. St. Michaels, Md. from 6:00 to 8:00PM.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Tilghman United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Tilghman Memorial Cemetery.
