Vivian L. Criner, of Okmulgee died Monday, October 2, 2006 in Tulsa after a brief illness. After living in Okmulgee for forty years, she had recently moved to Tulsa. Vivian was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania on September 22, 1923 to Luther and Lillian (Manson) Larimer. Her beloved husband, Louis E. Criner preceded her in death. Vivian was a wife, homemaker and mother to five children; Sharon C. Murphy and husband Kevin of Tulsa, Michael A. Criner and wife Judy of Sand Springs, Roger E. Criner and wife Joanne of Owasso, Mary C. Heath and husband Garry of Beacon, NY, and Beth A. Criner of Tulsa. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Gregory L. Montgomery, Christopher S. Montgomery, Tandy C. Robinson, Toni A. Criner and Luke L. Criner and three great grandchildren. Her sister, Janet L. Bresnan and family of Henderson, Nevada also grieve her passing. She will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be at 11am, Wednesday at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Fr. Benjamin Vima officiating. There will be no visitation. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Condolences can be made at mcclendon-winters .com
