Minvera Genetta Larcom, daughter of Levi and Louise Larcom, was born in Delaware County, Ohio, on August 27, 1867, and died at her home 603 N. School Street, Eureka, Kansas, June 1, 1942, aged 74 years, 9 months, and 4 days.
In 1876 she came to Kansas with her parents and spent most of her live in and near Eureka.
On Augusr 28, 1883, she was united in marriage to George Gardner Bartlett.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and five children, Fred, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Clara Sanders, Neal, Kansas; Mrs, Laura Binner, Hutchinson, Kansas; Mrs. Eva Moffitt, Elgin, Kansas; Alta of the home, also thirteen grandchildren and elven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Etta Jay and Mrs. Alora Gardner, both of Neodesha, Kansas; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Bartlett suffered a heart attack a year ago last April then recovered and was able to be up and around. She took sick again on Armistic Day of last year and has been a constant sufferer since that time.
She joined the Christian Church several years ago in Hutchinson.
Funeral service, condcuted by the Rev. Bert Sutton was held from the Baird Funeral Home Friday, June 5. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
