Bert Milton Langston, 82 of Brazoria passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 20, 2012 at his home.
He was born September 12, 1929 in Jacksonville to Will and Viola (Cleveland) Langston. He was a retired iron worker from the local 84 in Houston and Louisiana Pacific Lumber; was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed traveling.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
Bert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ella Jean Langston; son, Carl Eugene Langston; daughter, Lynda Kaye Owen and husband, David; special friends, Kathy Adam, Howard and Janice Knapp; brother, Bobby G. Langston and wife, Roxanne; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers, 1 sister and numerous nephews.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him especially his cherished pets.
