Aug 6, 1959 – Mrs Langston Dies At Calico Rock

Mrs Cora Belle (Burns) Langston of Calico Rock was born at Oxford, Ark., November 19, 1876 and died July 25, 1959 at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 6 days.

She was married to Wiley Langston on 7/20/1898 in Izard County, Arkansas. To this union four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two children. She is survived by one son, Hubert Langston of Calico Rock; one daughter, Mrs Lillian Speak of Moxee City, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Service were held Thursday, July 30 at 2 o'clock at the Calico Rock Church of Christ. Rev. Frank Puckett and Rev. Otho Strayhorn officiated at the services. Burial was made in Rose Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
