Lorene Harber of Salem, Arkansas was the daughter of Alva Langston and Nettie Blevins Langston. She was born March 5, 1927 at Morriston, Arkansas. She died April 16, 2009 at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 82.
She was united in marriage to Harlus Leeor Harber on May 2, 1947. To this union, two children were born. She was a hairdresser and owned and operated her own salon for over 40 years. She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Harley Harber and wife Gail of Glencoe, Arkansas and daughter, Lisa Hurtt and husband William of Salem, Arkansas, her grandchildren, Rusty and Robbie Hurtt and Brant Moxley, great grandchildren, Riley Hurtt and Lauren Moxley, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, her brother, Norman Langston, step mother, Nancy Langston, and her father and mother.
Services were held April 18, 2009 at the Salem Church of Christ in Salem, Arkansas with Bros. David Gibson and Mike Yates officiating.
Interment was in the Salem Cemetary at Salem, Arkansas under the direction of Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
