OAK CITY--Virginia Langston Anderson, age 81, died January 27, 1999 at home in Oak City.
Born April 15, 1917 in Hinckley to Alma and Jenny Camp Langston.
Married Amos A. Anderson September 12, 1947 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died August 13, 1996.
A Hinckley High School graduate. She drove a taxi cab in Salt Lake City for years to support two children from a previous marriage. After her marriage to Amos, she moved to Salt Lake City for employment. She supplemented the family income with sewing and selling Avon. She had a beautiful singing voice. Was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survived by Son and Daughters: Michael Anderson, Dianne Danelson, both Oak City; LaDean Lopez, Salt Lake City; 11 Grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Donna Sagers, Orpha Taylor, both Delta; Raina Bishop, St George; Brothers: Keith Langston, Salt Lake City; Clinton Langston, Phoenix AZ. Preceded in death by Son: Kerry Danelson.
Funeral services Saturday January 30, 1999, 11 AM at Oak City 1st Ward. Friends call at Church on Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. Burial Oak City Cemetery under the direction of Nickle Mortuary.
