Services for Mrs Eva E Collings, 87, of Catoosa will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Catoosa with Rev. Ledford Carey officiating. Burial will be in Floral Haven Cemetery under the direction of Kennard Funeral Service.
She died January 13, 1988, in a Claremore hospital.
She was born Febuary 2, 1900, in Westville, Indian Territory, The daughter of Marion and Lena Langley. She moved to Catoosa in the early 1900's with her family.
She married Jesse Collings, who Preceded her in death in 1982. She and her husband operated several businesses in Catoosa before their retirement. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Denzel: and a daughter, Mildred Carr.
Survivors include one son, Darrell, of Ramona; four daughters, Clara Faye Howell of Catoosa, Hartie Mae Knight of Checotah, Jewell Dold of Tahlequah and Jean Jacobs of Council Hill; one brother, Ray Langley, of Sacramento, California; one sister, Edna Harris, of Newman Lake, Washington; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 68 great-great-grandchildren.
