STAFFORD - Beulah Langley, 99, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Cumbernauld Village, Winfield. Born Sept. 10, 1913, at Jetmore, she was the daughter of William and Mary Schechter.
She worked in the lunchroom of Stafford Schools for 23 years. Beulah was an active member of the Stafford First Baptist Church, Women's ABW, volunteered at the Stafford Hospital and Stafford County Museum.
On Aug. 8, 1936, she married Lester Langley at Dodge City. He died May 12, 1990. She is survived by: two sons, one daughter, nine grandchildren; five step grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and a step great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by six sisters; two brothers and a grandson, Gregory Langley.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at the First Baptist Church, Stafford. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the church or Camp Christy, both in care of Minnis Chapel, Stafford.
