Kizzie Hires Langford, 92, of Ft. Myers, died Saturday November 13, 2004 at Ft. Myers. She was born in Moultrie, Georgia on December 1, 1911. At the age of three she moved to Southwest Florida with her family and had lived in Tice for the last 62 years. Kizzie was the daughter of the late Joshua and Fanny Hires and had been married to Wilson Langford who died in 1998. Survivors include her two daughters, Carole and her husband Chuck Clingenpeel, Nancy and her husband Raymond Pencherek both of Ft. Myers, her son Tom and his wife Pat Langford of Orange City, FL; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, her brother Solomon Hires, two sisters Missoura Tanner and Virginia Styles all of Ft. Myers, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Langford had retired from the State of Florida and had been a patient care supervisor at the Sunland Training (Gulfcoast) Center. She was a member of Christ Community Church of the Christian Missionary Alliance. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM in the Anderson Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 19, 2004. Graveside committal service will be in Lee Memorial Park.
