|Birth: ||May 19, 1865|
|Death: ||Jan. 26, 1945|
Daughter of William Clark and Martha Ann Sipple Langdon. Julia married Benjamin F. Morris on 24 September 1885 in Owen Co., Indiana. Child of this marriage is John H. Morris b. 1888. I believe there were two other children. Julia became the second wife of my g. g. Grandfather John Alby Newby on May 26, 1900. John's children by his first wife were grown and no children were produced from this second union. Julia and John were married 23 years before John died. In 1930 Julia is found living in the household of her neice Leota M. Spratt Claghorn as a "child nurse". Sometime later Julia removed to Missouri.
On the back's of my photos of Julia my Grandmother Mary Fern (Newby) Runyan wrote "Grand Mother Julia". Mary Fern was 7 years old when they married so Julia was the only (paternal)Grandmother she ever knew.
Julia's death certificate looks like it says she was buried in Lindley Cemetery in Sullivan Co., Missouri but there is no stone listed for her in those cemetery records. Originally, I'd made a memorial for her in that cemetery until I ran across this listing with the photo of the stone.
