She was born May 22, 1931, at Dunlap, the daughter of Samuel Leslie and Lucy Fern Moser Blanton. She graduated from Alta Vista High School, and Clarks School of Business, Topeka.
Mrs. Lang worked as a secretary at the Burlingame High School, and later for the First State Bank for many years. She was a member of the Burlingame Federated Church, Burlingame Saddle Club, Prairie Center Ladies Aide, Fairplain Grange and a 4-H Leader at Burlingame.
She married Paul Eldon Lang, Dec. 31, 1954, at Topeka. He survives at the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Lindsay, Osage City; three sons, Daniel Lang, Lawrence, David Lang, and Randal Lang, Burlingame; four sisters, Thelma Walker, Topeka, Carol Burton, Las Vegas, Ruby Cribbs, Mount Angel, Ore., Vickie Eveland, Lakewood, Colo.; four brothers, Don Blanton, Topeka, Thomas Rex Blanton, Wichita, Edwin Blanton, Granbury, Texas, and Vernon Blanton, Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua David Lang, who died in 1984.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2003, at Burlingame Federated Church. Burial will be in Burlingame Cemetery. Mrs. Lang will lie in state from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carey Funeral Home in Burlingame, where visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
