Gladys Sarah Hamblin, 89, died Tuesday, June 4, 1996 in Klamath Falls.
She was born to Francis and Alice Lane in Garfield, Arkansas.
She married Walter Hamblin on July 3, 1926, in Cassville, MO. The couple lived in that area until 1943, when they moved to Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Hamblin, affectionatley known as 'Momo', was a homemaker who loved to crochet and read.
She did work outside her home for a period of time at the fountain at Walgreen's in downtown Klamath Falls. She also was the cashier at the Klamath Falls Municipal Pool when it first opened.
Mrs. Hamblin was a member of Calvary Temple Church, where she attended services for more than 30 years.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law and three sons and daughters-in-law, Fern and Pete Webb, Billy Ray and Pauline Hamblin, Danny and Jannie Hamblin, all Klamath Falls, Paul and Eudonna Hamblin, Red Bluff, CA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Lane, Joplin, MO and Lensy Lan, Carthage, MO; two sisters, Mildred Herd and Wanda Lane, PItcher, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1968; her parents, three sisters, four brothers, and a great-great-grandson.
