Joyce was the daughter of Leo and Jenice Edna (Conder) Lane. She married Ronald Adkisson on April 25, 1969, in Odessa, TX. Joyce was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Agra and was a homemaker.
Her parents, one son, Johnny Adkisson, 2 brothers, and 1 sister, preceded Joyce in death.
Survivors include, husband, Ronald of the home, one daughter, Sabrina Ann Adkisson of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Jennifer Adkisson of Cushing, OK, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry & Karen Lane of Agra, OK, Jimmy & Lois Lane of Cushing, OK, two sisters and brother-in-law, Shelia & Regie Smith of Seminole, OK, Shirley Thorpe of Moore, OK, three grandchildren, Anthony, Joannie, and Sherry, extended family, Jerry Woodall and Kimberly McKinzie of Cushing, OK.
