Letha C. Gillum, 86, a former resident of 430 W. Main St., died Saturday at Community Care Center West, Portland, after an extended illness.
Born in Balbec, she was the daughter of Frank and Carrie (Geesaman) Landers. She was first married to Andrew Rigby, who died, and later married Benjamin Gillum, who also died. She was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church, Portland.
Surviving are a son Willard Rigby, Portland; a daughter, Mary Goode, Redkey; two brothers, Homer Landers and James Landers, both of Portland; a sister, Christina Guntle, Portland; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with the Rev. La Vene Brosher officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
