Mrs. Hazel L. Ash, 52, 13 Cook St., North Warren, was pronounced dead on arrival at Warren General Hospital, Tuesday Jan 11, 1977, following an illness of six months.
She was born on July 15, 1924, in North Warren, the daughter of the late Bert and Flossie Tarbox Landers. A resident of North Warren her entire life, she was employed with the New Process Co. for eight years in the correspondence department.
She was also a member of the North Warren Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Cecil R. Ash; one daughter, Celia D. Ash, at home; two sons, Mark R. Ash and Matthew G. Ash, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Knowlton, Lander, and Mrs. Timothy (June) Howard, North Warren; two brothers, Robert Landers, Erie, and Floyd Landers, Starbrick; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Florence Demel, and four brothers, Gerald Landers, Howard Landers, Richard Landers, and Victor Landers.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held there Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Nelson Beck, pastor of the North Warren Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the North Warren United Presbyterian Church Building Fund or the Heart Association.
