CARENCRO- Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2009 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Marie Louise Guilbeau, 94, the former Marie Louise Lanclos, who passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 11:45 a.m. at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville.

Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau. The Rev. Tony Ostini, S.J., of St. Charles College in Grand Coteau, will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Guilbeau was a native of Carencro and a resident of Sunset. She was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau.

Survivors include one daughter, Claudette Landry and her husband, Elward, Sr. of Sunset; two grandchildren, Eric Landry of Lafayette and Elward Landry, Jr. of Sunset; and one sister, Lucille Bertinot of Houma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien "Nu Nu" Guilbeau; her parents, Alexis Lanclos and the former Emily Stelly, both natives of Arnaudville; one brother, Alexander Lanclos of Sunset; and three sisters, Rose Bergeron, Emma Gautreaux and Alosia Thibodeaux.
