Mrs. Lucille E. Davis, 70, of Dyersburg, Tenn., died Monday, August 25, 1997.
Born Tuesday, December 7, 1926, in Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late George and Cora Newton Lancaster.
Affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ, she was the widow of J.B. Davis.
Mrs. Davis leaves four daughters: Carolyn Redden of Dyersburg, Pat Fisher of Blytheville, Ark., Nancy Dildine, of Steele, Mo., and Melody Reid of Dyersburg; three brothers: Bobby Lancaster of Mount Vernon, Texas, Tom Lancaster of Prairieville, La., and Jackie Lancaster of Steele; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 1997 at Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti, Mo., with Rev. Doug Tidwell officiating.
Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti with Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home of Hayti in charge.
